What ages are the adventures for?
Adventures are designed primarily for toddlers and preschool-aged children, typically under age 6, though older children can enjoy them too! Simply bring the adventure to their level by adding more complex challenges, imaginative play, or opportunities to explore.
Every adventure is a little different, so parents know their children best and should choose adventures that are appropriate for their child's age, abilities, and interests.

A Play Pantry adventure is a themed, ready-to-play experience filled with sensory materials, manipulatives, and opportunities for imaginative, open-ended play.

Our adventures include small pieces and sensory materials, so close adult supervision is important, especially for little ones who are still exploring with their mouths.
You know your child best. Stay close, guide and redirect as needed, and use the adventure as an opportunity to help your child learn how to explore the materials safely.
The goal isn't to take away the exploration, it's to be there alongside your child as they learn.
Adult supervision is required during play.

There’s no “right” way to play! Each adventure is designed to encourage open-ended exploration, imagination, and creativity. Follow your child’s lead, or use the kid-friendly Play Card for playful prompts and ideas when you need a little inspiration.
The Parent Adventure Guide also offers ideas for joining in, extending the play, and helping your child get the most from their adventure.

Founding Families enjoy special launch pricing of $20 per adventure. Each rental includes two weeks of play with your chosen adventure.

Each adventure is yours for two weeks of play.
You'll choose a scheduled pickup and return window when you reserve, so we can keep the adventures moving from family to family.

We offer several ways to get your Play Pantry adventure:
Porch Pickup - Fenton
Thursday | 5-7pm
Saturday | 9-11am
Pop-Up Pickup
We'll occasionally offer additional pickup opportunities at local pop-up locations. Details will be shared when available.
Local Delivery
Delivery may be available for an additional fee, depending on your location and availablility.
When you reserve your adventure, you'll select from the pickup or delivery options available for your rental period.

Our pickup and return windows help us keep adventures moving from one family to the next, so families should plan to use their scheduled window whenever possible.
We understand that life happens! If something unexpected comes up, please reach out as soon as you can. We'll do our best to find an alternative when possible, such as arranging another pickup/return time or, when available, delivery for an additional fee.
Because our adventures are shared by multiple families, alternative arrangements aren't guaranteed and aren't intended to replace the scheduled pickup and return windows.
What happens if something is lost or damaged?
What happens if something is lost or damaged?
We know that play involves children and the goal is not perfection!
If something is missing or damaged, please let us know. We'll evaluate the item and determine whether it needs to be replaced right away or can be replaced when practical.
Families may be contacted if a significant piece is missing, a replacement is needed, or the damage affects future rentals. Our goal is always to handle these situations with kindness and keep the adventure library ready for the next family.

At launch, reservations are available exclusively to our Founding Families.
Once you're welcomed as a Founding Family, you'll receive access to the reservation process and can choose from the adventures and pickup options available at that time.
